Head of Learning and Growth, Victims and Survivors Service – Belfast

The Victims and Survivors Service (VSS) supports victims and survivors of the Troubles/conflict, survivors of Historical Institutional Abuse, and those impacted by Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses. The VSS directly supports over 6,000 victims and survivors per annum, and over 12,000 victims and survivors are supported per annum though community partner organisations. The purpose of the role of Head of Learning and Growth is to define, lead, coordinate and achieve the successful delivery of the work undertaken by three diverse teams within the organisation, addressing service development and reporting, communications and awareness raising, and the monitoring and evaluation of the organisation’s impact in delivering its strategic aims.

The Strategic Investments Board, Contracts Manager – Belfast Stories

Belfast Stories is an ambitious new attraction for Belfast city centre. It will offer visitors and locals a way to connect with the stories of Belfast told by the people who call it home. Opening in 2029, it will reflect the unique spirit of Belfast through the telling of stories using a variety of media and a mix of immersive experiences. A dedicated project team was established within Belfast City Council in 2020. Belfast Stories is funded by Belfast City Council and Belfast Region City Deal with an estimated investment of £100m. As well as growing the city’s tourism offering, the project will support a vibrant city centre for local people and visits delivering benefits across the city.

The Contracts Manager will join the Belfast Stories Team and manage the professional services teams appointed to deliver this ambitious project.
