Kylie Minogue and Calvin Harris are among the headliners for this year’s Electric Picnic festival.

The festival, which takes place from August 16 to 18 in Stradbelly, Co Laois.

Joining the headliners are renowned acts such as Kodaline, Raye, Gerry Cinnamon, Kasabian, J Hus, Peggy Gou, Teddy Swims, Tom Grennan, and Faithless.

The Wolfe Tones, who drew record crowds last year, will return to the main stage.

Other notable performers include Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Teskey Brothers, Ethel Cain, Damien Dempsey, David Kushner, The Waterboys, Amble, Jazzy, and Belfast trio Kneecap.

Kojaque, Artemas, and The Scratch will also take to the stage throughout the weekend.

Festival director Melvin Benn expressed his excitement for the 20th anniversary of Electric Picnic, stating, “Electric Picnic is the slightly earlier jewel in the crown of the festival calendar this year of course and what a crown it is.”

“A crown that 75,000 people get to wear and be part of and what a line-up they have to be part of. The Wolfe Tones returning was a must.”

He added, “The Scratch and The Waterboys are unmissable for me. Noah taking the world by storm and Calvin blowing our minds and then…. Kylie! What more can I say. The Picnic really is my joyous weekend.”

The festival, which has been sold out for several months, is expected to attract around 75,000 attendees.

A small number of tickets have been released due to failed credit card payments, and fans are encouraged to act quickly to secure their spot.
